My biggest ‘take home’ after working as a doctor for almost 20 years is that in majority of cases, all patients and their loved one's need is a gentle touch, a kind word, an ear they can vent out on or a shoulder to cry on!
Be empathetic, it really goes a long way.

Some basic terms, rules and facts regarding COVID-19
If you were exposed to someone with COVID-19: Quarantine. If you have been boosted OR completed the primary series of any vaccine (first two shots) within the last 6 months
If you test positive for COVID-19: Isolate, everyone, regardless of vaccination status.
It is generally not advisable to get retested for at least 2-3 weeks after ending isolation unless it is necessary to produce a negative result to resume work or travel because the PCR can at times detect even the dead virus for up-to 6 weeks from the onset of symptoms. Once a person has ended isolation, it can take months for a complete recovery. A dry cough, ... weakness, fatigue, body aches, loss of smell or taste can sometimes persist for weeks to months.
It is very much possible and is also being reported. Immunity against COVID-19 is not lifelong. However, exactly how long after the first illness can a person get re-infected is not known. It is generally believed that 12 weeks after the onset... of symptoms from the first infection, a person is as susceptible to contracting the illness as those who have never had the disease.
Always, wear a mask, limit your movements, maintain social distancing, practice SOPs when going out and most important of all, refrain from household mixing i.e. people living in one house meeting people living in another house, don’t visit your elderly parents if you don’t live in the same house, you could be exposing them to all that you have been exposed to outside, even if you do, wear a mask and maintain 6-8 feet distance throughout the duration of your visit.
We are in this together, Hence we NEED to beat this together.

Incredibly selfless and an amazingly engaging doctor who tends to be more vigilant and attentive than any doctor I know. Very capable and reliable, her advise and prescriptions are sound, valuable and reassuring. She has treated so many people through COVID pandemic and Dengue outbreak and through my very personal experience, she always available no matter what the time and always on top of thing checking on her patients and asking for updates via calls and messages.

Dr Sadaf has been a Godsend for us. Sitting in Australia, I felt so helpless when my parents contracted COVID. She is amazing. I don’t have words how she comforted me and my siblings and guided us throughout my parents treatment. She has gone over and beyond to help us. No matter what time of the day I message her, she always gets back to me in no time. I can’t speak highly enough of her, even while I type this message I have tears in my eyes of how much she helped us at each and every step. May Allah keep her and her family safe and provide her with abundance out of his bounties. She is truly a gem of a person and I wish we had more doctors like her. Dr Sadaf you will always remain in my duas in sha Allah!

I have yet to meet a doctor of this kind. I think I would have not made it if it weren’t for her. Online is a weird world but Dr. Sadaf has been too competent for words. I can’t thank her enough for her guidance support and overall know how of what COVID is and how to tackle it from the start. Thank you for so much of patience and pulling me out of it! Really really awesome experience.

I am highly grateful to Dr Sadaf Taqvi! She has been so kind and helpful throughout the two weeks my two kids had COVID. Always there whenever needed! She herself asked me about their condition every couple of hours. Very few doctors are so concerned and cooperative about their patients specially during the current situation when doctors are extremely busy. Thank u very much Dr Sadaf!!
